Area information

The Jakubkova lúka ski area is only 300 metres away from the hotel, which offers discounts for ski passes. There are also many other ski slopes, as well as cross-country ski runs, in the vicinity. An ice rink is only 100 metres away.

Summer activities include horseback riding, rafting in the canyon of the Dunajec River, and hiking and climbing in the Pieniny National Park and the High Tatras.

Airport Poprad - Tatry - 15 km, charter flights, transport from airport by using taxi, or combination tyxi, railway. In december the new line of the SkyEurope Airlines to London - Stansted will be opened.
Airport Košice - 140 km, regular flights, charter flights, transport from airport by using taxi, public transport
Airport Bratislava - 400 km, regular flights, charter flights, transport from airport by using taxi, public transport
Airport Budapest - 350 km, , regular flights, charter flights, transport from airport by using shuttle

By train
Railway station Poprad-Tatry - 15 km, station for slow trains, express and trains Intercity. Connection with the Tatra electric raiway at the station Nový Smokovec or Sibír, from here approx. 5min on foot.
Railway station Štrba - 22 km, station for slow trains and express. Connection with the funicular and the Tatra electric raiway at the station Nový Smokovec or Sibír, from here approx. 5min on foot.

By bus
Bus station Poprad - accepts intercity, long distance and international buses. From here to Starý Smokovec
Bus station Starý Smokovec - accepts long distance and international buses. From this place using the taxi or 20min on foot.

By car
The easiest way is to come toPoprad, then to Nový Smokovec. In this part of the town go ahead towards Štrbské Pleso, at the first crossing turn to the left, pass the rails.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 12 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled up to 5 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 19.00 per night and person for extra beds.
